It starts from the Don Luigi Vezzola square, taking the road that climbs up to Croce, the oldest historical nucleus of Spiazzi.

In the early Middle Ages there are those who believe the locality of Croce was a monastery, towards the end of the nineteenth century the center of the town of Spiazzi coincided with this locality called the little Paris, as it was equipped with a tavern (al Lampione), accommodation, landlords, a school private elementary school and also a station of the Guardia di Finanza whose barracks were located in the court. About a hundred people lived there, some workshops with about twenty workers of religious bone objects. The court was originally closed with four protective doors, “Porta Viveri” – Porta Lupi or Viandanti – Porta Latrine and Porta Morti where you exited to reach the Cemetery of Ferrara. You exit the nucleus following the signs for the Stella Alpina hotel, when you come near the end of the path, keep left, go up towards the pine forest and come out on a meadow where we reach the ridge of Monte Croce, from whichn you can enjoy the view over the town of Spiazzi and Monte Baldo.
