The waterways retraces ancient paths where we find fountains, wash houses, mills that testify to the ingenuity of man and his way of organizing the territory and its resources.

Departure in Platano where it is possible to visit Villa Nichesola (open on weekdays), and the wash house located in the garden, at the exit of the watercourse of the villa’s pond.

You go up to the hamlet of San Martino with the homonymous 13th-century church-oratory, the abbot’s house and wash house.
The road continues north with on the left, the Bertoldi and sons building, which was once a mill and on the right there is a small wash house. Continue up to the provincial road for Spiazzi, turning right you reach one of the Val Secca mills, which functions as a sawmill for lumber, with a restored and functioning
stone wheel and gutter.

Continuing towards Spiazzi, you arrive at Villa Cariola, further on on the left you can see the Fontana and Capitello spring called Mascheron. Continue to Pazzon with the fountain, carved out of a single block of red Verona marble.
To the right of the fountain, take the path to Val del Tasso, and you will find a fine wash house, then continue to the valley with the “Gorgo”, a natural waterfall of the stream.

Continue towards the locality of Porcino, famous in the last century for the factory of ”copi”, Porcino tiles, the kilns are still visible today. In this district there is the fountain-washhouse in red Verona marble.

You go up to the hamlet of Cimaino and from here, with a beautiful view over the Caprino valley and Monte Baldo, you arrive in Ori di Sopra, take the road to the marble quarries and go up for 200 meters, and then descend right towards Gamberon.
Here, turning left, you arrive in Lubiara, taking the road to Caprino, you will first meet the beautiful fountain, and later on the wash house.


Arrived at Villa Colpani-Becherle-Sandri, turn left and go down to a small capital, continuing to the right you come to another capital. Returning up the steps to the capital, you can go up to the courtyard of the Sometti complex and visit the wash houses. Turning right you arrive at the Villa dei Camini (Mountain), at the Platano dei 100 Bersaglieri and passing the bridge you return to the parking lot in front of Villa Nichesola’.
